💚 How he loves us 💚

Recently I started a bible study with a friend.  Called uninvited, teaching us that even though we feel left out or unloved God loves us so much.  He wants us to feel how much he loves us.  Until you ask him to come into your heart and ask him to take over your life you are not going to know how much he loves us. We have all had someone in our life that has let us down in some way. They have lied to us,  they have talked behind our backs,  they have rejected us, I could go on and on.  But God wants us to know that he will never do any of those things. He loves us unconditionally  When you feel down and left out he is there to pick up by those pieces.  You just have to go to him and talk to him in prayer. Give the Lord all your problems and he will listen and help you feel complete again.  When you have Gods love in your heart the worries of being let down just go away.  You don't care anymore what someone did to you or has even said about you.  All that is just a distraction of what God has in store for us.  None of that is going to matter when we get where we are going. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and he will heal your brokenness. He will give you life back where you once thought was lost. I am living proof.  I have been hurt by friends . Talked about by friends and let down by friends.  I have even been rejected by friends.  I always feel awkward in crowds,  like I don't fit in.  I don't belong. These people are going to judge me and the big one, I am not good enough to be apart of this group of people. I have learned through bible study, my life group at church and lots of prayer that all these things are wrong. I am important,  I am loved.  I am loved by the most high,  the king of Kings and the Lord of Lords.. The Almighty one himself Nd he loves me more than I could ever imagine love to be like.  I mean he died for me.  Would any of my friends do that for me?  Would your friends do that for you?  Oh how he loves us...
If his grace is an ocean,  we're all sinking.
And heaven meets earth like like an unforeseen kiss
And my heart turns violently inside my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way...
That he loves  us,  oh how he loves us.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

July 5th, I found out that I am diabetic. News that was very shocking to me because as far as I knew nobody in our family is diabetic. So why and how did this get to me. What did I do wrong? I now have a new life style I have to live. This is going to be a rocky road for me. But one thing I know that no matter how down I get God is right there to help get me through this, along with my family and friends.  I have to keep reminding myself of Philippians 4:13.
I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me.

Liars....

What does the bible say about people who lie to one another?
Lying is a huge issue for many people, including Christians. "Thou shall not lie" is one of the ten commandments, but even Christians have trouble with this commandment.
Proverbs: 6:16-19 goes on to say....
There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
Colossians 3:9-10
Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.
Each one of these verses tells us that God hates when we lie. It is a sin. So tell me why do so many people  have to lie. When we decide to put God in our heart you become a new person. You feel like a new person. You just have so much happiness why in the world would you ever want to commit another sin again. I want to serve my God and do no wrong. Now don't get me wrong, I am going to sin again. I am not a perfect person nor will I ever be. But I made the choice to live a honest Christian life So why if you choose to live a new Christian. life would you choose to lie to people around you. Lying is a choice you make. So you are choosing to sin. Lying to get yourself out of trouble...no! Just tell the truth. Lying to protect those you love...no!! Just tell the truth. Lying to make yourself look good....no, why would you do that. People the truth will set you free..

Make the choice today my friends, if you have God in your life and he is in your heart today should be the last day you ever tell another lie no matter what.

His Light...

Luke 11:33-36
33 “No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house.
34 “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is unhealthy, your body is filled with darkness. 35 Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness. 36 If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light.”

So what do you think this means? To me, I interpret that it means the light is GOD, and if you have him in your heart you should shout it to the world. You should never hide the light. Never be ashamed of the light. When I started my journey with God I got this joy in heart. I was happy all the time. I normally am a happy person, but now it was just a little bit different. Now I wasn't going to let a bad day at work take my joy away. I wasn't going to let a co-workers bad attitude change the way my day was going, nor change my happiness. I just prayed that one day that co-worker would feel what I feel and then they would have this wonderful feeling of JOY in their heart just like me. Why should we let a chaotic day steal our happiness. Work can get so overwhelming. You can be short staffed, co-workers gossiping, no one doing their job. All these things can steal your joy. Don't allow that to happen to you. I at times did then one day I said enough is enough.
I also cry all the time as well. But it not a sad cry. It is this joyful cry. One thing I really enjoy is music. Both me and my husband love to listen to music. So naturally when we are at church we both are singing along to all the songs. Some of the songs gives me so much joy as I am singing them I will literally have tears streaming down my face as I sing.
I hope that others have this joy like I do. I pray that one day all my friends will have this light like I have. I want my friends heart to swell up with joy like mine does when I sing a song or read a scripture. So, friends if your reading this and if you have the light in your heart please be sure to let that light shine. Let it shine bright for all to see. Share your love for Christ to someone that doesn't have that same light.  True joy can only be attained as part of the fruit of the spirt.  It is that overwhelming sense of comfort and contentment that floods one’s soul. It is the thing that we have when we are walking with the Holy Spirit and mortifying the deeds of the flesh  True Joy comes only when we are focused upon walking with the Lord and esteeming others. Since Joy is fruit of the Spirit it is a special gift that only the believer has.
They don't know what they are missing. But if we show off all of our happiness they are going to be curious. So get out there and let your light shine.

He is my Rock...

Psalms 62

I wait quietly before God,
for my victory comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken.
So many enemies against one man—
all of them trying to kill me.
To them I’m just a broken-down wall
    or a tottering fence.
They plan to topple me from my high position.
They delight in telling lies about me.
They praise me to my face
but curse me in their hearts.
Let all that I am wait quietly before God,
for my hope is in him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone.
He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
O my people, trust in him at all times.
Pour out your heart to him,
    for God is our refuge.
Common people are as worthless as a puff of wind,
and the powerful are not what they appear to be.
If you weigh them on the scales,
together they are lighter than a breath of air.
Don’t make your living by extortion
or put your hope in stealing.
And if your wealth increases,
don’t make it the center of your life.
God has spoken plainly,
and I have heard it many times:
Power, O God, belongs to you;
unfailing love, O Lord, is yours.
Surely you repay all people
according to what they have done.

Changed forever....

That's what he has done, he has changed me forever. Instead of feeling anxiety in my chest,I feel the Joy God has put in my heart. Everyday I smile and thank God for this wonderful feeling of joy and nobody is gonna steal my joy. I no longer will be letting the devil work his way back into my heart.

FEAR....

I have a group of friends that I am in a bible study with. The past 5 weeks or so we have been studying issues that a lot of women have. For example : control issues, insecurity, comparison and fear are just a few issues some of us woman have. I have learned a lot through this study, not about just me but also about my friends in this group. You know one thing I learned? I am not the only one who struggles with some issues. Thank goodness!  :)
My biggest issue that I have is fear. I already knew I had a fear of heights. Just the other day our family went to a college big ten basketball game. As we are making our way up to our seats I notice my husband going higher and higher up. I had to stop at one point. My legs were shaking, my heart was racing, I was sweating, I was getting nausea  and I actually started tearing up. I didn't feel secure and I was having a full blown anxiety attack. I was too far up in the stadium and I was scared to death. By the time I finally got to the seats my husband looks at me and asks "are you ok?" Um, NO!! There was no way I was going to be able to sit there and watch that game. Thankfully we moved down about 20 rows. It was still high but not as high and I felt more secure.
During this bible study I learned fear of heights is not my only fear. I also have a fear of failure and rejection. I don't like to fail at anything. I mean honestly who does. I always put 100% into everything I do and when I fail at something I get mad at myself. I also don't like to be rejected by people. Feeling like someone is mad at me or doesn't like me just breaks my heart. I will be the first to tell you I am very sensitive and I get my feelings hurt very easy. But along this journey with Christ I have learned :
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore i will not fear. "
Psalm 46:1-2
